  • Solar Cells TWELVE-BUSBAR CELLS

    The twelve-busbar (12BB) design makes the current transmission path more reasonable, the solar cells with lower series resistance, higher conversion efficiency, and effectively reduces the risk caused by cracking, more beneficial for the collection of PV current in addition to significant pure silver cost reduction
    Our R&D center has independently developed 12BB solar cells, with 0.2% higher efficiency than conventional cells. By using the 12BB on the front-side of the solar cells, the filling factor of the solar cells is significantly improved compared with the conventional 5BB solar cells, and the total resistance loss of the module can be effectively reduced, with the module power increasing by 5-8W; the 12BB can effectively avoid the risk of cracking due to the uneven internal stress resulting from the wide-bias welding of the conventional busbars, enabling more efficient and stable performance of the black silicon products. The product is manufactured using conventional cells manufacturing process and basically compatible with existing equipment, and just needs to replace the test probe unit with a 12BB, with low cost and high recovery.
